Mechwarrior: Mercenaries (2002)

(PC, 2002)

Cyberlore Studios continued the success of Microsoft's Mechwarrior franchise with the release of this stand-alone sequel to Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance.

George played the voice of the Solaris Competition announcer, Duncan Fisher. This character provides the play-by-play and "color" commentary of each match. In creating the persona of Duncan Fisher, George had this to say:
"...I was inspired by the classic sportscasters Howard Cosell and Keith Jackson for their unique personalities and delivery style. The voice, however, is actually a variation of a Robert Stack impression..."
Described in various reviews as both "witty" and "verbose", the character has become a very recognizable figure in the gaming world.
